Day 1 - 15.06.21: Denali - Hello Alaska

15 June 2021.

Day 1 on the mountain. Up at 1am. Sled and backpack preparation. Single line up the valley to camp 1. It rained for a good hour. Not possible to talk as lined up 10m from each other. Pack and sled pretty heavy despite low incline. Pretty boring. Slept most of the day to recover. Dinner at 4pm. Up at one again.
