Day 15 Denali- 20,310ft, summit day!

We summited. My little prayer to have a nice day with not much wind was answered. Or maybe our guide holding the record for the most successful attempts (28 over 31). Nevertheless it took 12 hours. We started at 10am back at a quarter to 10 pm. And it was tough. 2 hours in the guide said we were too slow and needed another 6 hours to the summit. Many hills and many reasons why we might not make it. I almost gave up. But slowly slowly we got in reach of the summit and now was the guide who did not work to give up. Took another 2 hours to summit. And then 4 hours back. What an achievement? Definitely the toughest expedition and climb in my mountaineering. Love to all. Longing to see you.
