Day 6 - 21.06.21: Denali- sunbathing, pancakes and pizza.

Day 6 on the mountain. Day of rest at 11000 feet camp. Beautiful to wake up at 08:30am knowing you won’t kill your body for a day. Early morning was a bit cooler and it snowed in the night. But the morning was great. Shocking news: our Mexican friend has decided also to leave. And then there were three!!!!

We now have to think logistics. We shall probably continue with the three guides, superman Dawson and little Bob and I. The pace will be a massacre but we aren’t giving up yet.

Spent the day lounging, stretching, sunbathing...

Pancakes for breakfast and pizza for dinner. I had a baby wipes clean and changed underwear and base layer. Nice to feel fresh.

Camp got very busy with lots of groups arriving through the day. We do not know what we shall do tomorrow as we are waiting for a descending group from AMS to pick up our parting friends.
